BACK HOME

This is the first summer in 4 years that I haven't worked in the home department--they've stuck me in the Men's Department for the past 3 months.  However, today I was able to switch back HOME. It made me somewhat nostalgic because the aisles didn't have my sense of style anymore.  After carefully scrutinizing the endcaps, I knew something had to be done.  Instead of simply pushing all of the merchandise that just arrived on the truck, I revamped half of the department.

In the picture:
     "Keep Calm and Carry On"
       Coffee Mugs & Tea Kettles.

Selfies are a No-Go

I come from a town where a very limited number of people know how to dress themselves without looking like a complete meathead. Yeah, all you Tapout, Affliction, Ed Hardy, Abercrombie, Rocawear, Ecko, COOGI wear-ers out there... get a new wardrobe.  Who wants to see ABERCROMBIE plastered across your chest? Or an Affliction tee which is two sizes too small... just to show off the muscles you have so excessively worked out at the gym. Let me tell you.... Nobody.

Just a little piece of advice... step away from the mirror, put your shirt back on, put the iPhone away and get someone other than your reflection to take a picture of you.

I am surrounded by people with a lack of originality.  If I was saying you can't be brand loyal I would be calling myself a hypocrite. I have brands that I wear on the reg, however, I don't let them define me. Be an individual. Wearing tight fitting clothing doesn't necessarily make you strong.  To me, it makes you more of a coward.  If you have to constantly take pictures of your abs to show off, you have an enormous self-esteem issue.  If you like working out, do it for yourself... not so you'll get 100 likes on Facebook. That's not what going to the gym is all about.

Selfies may have been cool circa de 2002 on Myspace, but we have come a long way since then. Nobody uses myspace... so... nobody should still be taking selfies.

So right before you’re about to lift up your shirt and flex as hard as you can to take that standard LOOK AT ME IM SO JACKED pic....

… find a better way to show off your hard work.

Find qualities that actually matter.... and a hobby. Hanging out in your bathroom is slightly pathetic.
